Kōdō, the Way of Incense, teaches us to experience fragrance with all the senses. In this ancient art, one does not just smell but ""listens"" to scent, allowing it to speak directly to the heart and spirit. Through an attentive stillness, incense becomes a conduit for meditation, for inner transformation.
Meticulously crafted in Kyoto at a twelfth-generation family-owned workshop, our incense is handmade by devoted artisans using traditional Japanese techniques. The set includes 35 sticks that each burn for up to 25 minutes.
It is our humble intention that you may experience it fully: a small moment to pause, return to inner quiet, and notice what takes shape.
Frankincense, once worth more than gold – is the core of this scent. Softened by warm and resinous amber notes, and ignited with the rich spice of clove, ENCENS 9 offers serenity in our living space and inspires our souls to reach a calm state for contemplating new beginnings.
